Tulum is a city on the Caribbean coast in Mexico with 20,000 inhabitants. It is located on the Yucatán Peninsula on the Riviera Maya in the state of Quintana Roo.
Cancun, the center of the Riviera Maya holiday region, is 130 kilometers away. The tourist offer in Tulum is not as strong as in the neighboring towns on the Riviera Maya. Therefore, a more relaxed and quieter vacation is possible here.
