Climate in Tenerife
The climate in Tenerife is very pleasant all year round, and it is not without reason that one speaks of the “island of eternal spring”. Nevertheless, there are regional differences due to the influence of the northeast trade wind. In the north of Tenerife is the coast facing the wind, while the south is in the sheltered area.
It is therefore not uncommon for the sun to shine on one side of the island while the other half is covered in clouds. But in general Tenerife is considered to be very sunny, dry and pleasant with an oceanic-tropical climate.
In summer it is warm with daytime temperatures between 26 and 29 degrees, even in winter the 20 degree mark is usually exceeded during the day.
