It is bordered by South Africa to the north, west and south and Mozambique to the east. Eswatini experiences a subtropical climate with warm temperatures year round and heavy rainfall during the wet season. Eswatini’s higher education system consists of five public universities located in Mbabane, Manzini and other cities as well as several private universities. The public universities offer degree programs in a wide range of fields from engineering and medicine to business administration, technology and law. Most degree programs are taught in English although some universities offer courses taught in either Siswati or siSwati-English hybrid language such as those offered by University of Eswatini (UNESWA). There are also a number of foreign universities which have established campuses or joint-degree programs in Eswatini such as Germany’s Technische Universität Berlin or France’s Université de Nantes.
