According to wholevehicles, the geography of Mexico is diverse and varied, consisting of lowlands, mountains, deserts and jungles. The country occupies a total area of 1. 9 million square kilometers, making it the fifth largest in the world. It is bordered by the United States to the north and Guatemala and Belize to the south. The terrain is mostly highlands with two mountain ranges running through the center of the country, Sierra Madre Oriental and Sierra Madre Occidental. The climate is primarily tropical but varies depending on altitude with temperatures ranging from very hot in some areas to cold in others. Mexico has a well-developed education system which consists of three levels: primary school (lasting six years), secondary school (lasting three years) and tertiary level education (university or college). Primary school is free for all citizens while university or college requires tuition fees to be paid. The government provides educational grants for those pursuing higher education as well as free textbooks for primary school students. In addition to this there are numerous vocational training centers available for students who wish to pursue a career in technical or manual labor such as carpentry, plumbing and mechanics. Furthermore there are several universities located throughout Mexico which offer degree programs in various fields such as business administration engineering law medicine and more. Additionally Mexico also offers numerous educational opportunities beyond secondary school such as adult literacy classes English language courses entrepreneurship courses and other specialized training programs which are aimed at providing citizens with the skills necessary to succeed in today’s global economy. Mexico has a rich cultural heritage with many traditional festivals celebrated throughout the year such as Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos and Cinco de Mayo being some of its most popular ones. It also has a long history of indigenous cultures that have shaped its art music cuisine architecture religion language literature politics sports dance fashion film industry cuisine literature music philosophy science technology engineering mathematics among many others making it one of most culturally diverse countries in Latin America.
