According to wholevehicles, Albania is a small country located in the Southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Greece, Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro. Its coastline is along the Adriatic and Ionian Sea. The terrain of Albania is mostly mountainous with two large plains, the coastal lowlands and the central uplands. The climate of Albania varies depending on elevation but generally has Mediterranean characteristics with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The education system in Albania has undergone significant changes since its independence from communist rule in 1991. The Albanian government has implemented a number of reforms to improve educational standards, such as increasing access to quality education for all students regardless of economic or social background. Primary education starts at age 6 and continues for nine years until age 15 when students can choose to pursue secondary or vocational studies. At the secondary level, there are three types of schools: general academic schools, vocational schools and technical schools.
