This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are now studying in
the U.S. or Canada, regardless of nationality. Three individuals will be
designated each year and awarded a one-time scholarship of $4,500.
must be full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at an
accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.
or Canada and hold a valid student ID card.
minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.70 on a 4.0 scale (or its
equivalent) is required.
The three individuals will be selected based on personal statement and
resume which demonstrate applicant's academic performance and leadership participation in cross cultural activities. Financial need will not be considered.
Statement: Write a 750-1000 word personal statement about
how cross cultural environment affects your life or the lives of those
around you. You may relate a personal story or professional experience
to describe how people or events in different cultures have shaped you
or influenced your goals.
