According to the methodology, acid picking can be sorted into continuous and push-pull modes. If continuous acid pickling line adopted, the head and rear ends of two different coilers shall have to be welded together, either entry or exit of the pickling section has to be equipped with looper to guarantee a successive operation within the acid picking section. Generally, when the annual yield exceeding 700,000 tons, continuous acid pickling line will be suggested. While, the push-pull acid pickling is referring to the procedure which steel belt of each coiler being threaded through the whole acid pickling section, first by pushing then by pulling forces, to complete acid pickling treatment. Normally, if an annual yield is around 600,000 tons, push-pull mode will be the 1st option.
