Having only one head helps prevent against alignment errors when setting the heads. A symmetric ink arrangement (MCYKKYCM) and newly developed 16 bit rendering function of the standard RIP, allows for enhanced print quality. In addition to pre-print heaters, a post heater has been added to increase drying time of ink on media, allowing for faster uptake of the printed media. The JV33 series is also equipped with an UISS (uninterrupted ink supply system) for use during the 4-print mode. This feature allows the printer to produce large prints (long runs) without worrying about running out of ink.
