The move is a positive response to a notification released by the Chinese government on restricting producing, selling and using plastic shopping bags, which makes CICGF the first one to do so among all the fairs in China. Overseas visitors will get free bags upon registration on site. It is estimated that about 12,000 cotton bags will be distributed at the fair. The idea came from Mr. Li Xinhua, Vice Secretary General of the CICGF Organizing Committee, and was supported by Ningbo Qingfeng Yarn-dyned Fabric Co. Ltd.. The Company has signed an eight-year cooperation agreement with the Organizing Committee, providing all the cotton brochure bags the fair needs. According to Ms. He Zhixian, general manager of the company, bags made with cotton material are highly environmental and can be cleaned and used repeatedly. With special processing techniques, loading capacity of the bags is greatly enhanced, up to 10 times stronger than the general strength of nylon bags.
