Dear Sirs,
I am working on a project to upgrade a plant that processes saltcake. Saltcake is the waste generated by melting aluminium dross (the main business of our company in Bahrain) and has to be treated to make it safe and inert.
Saltcake is approximately a 50/50 mix of salt (NaCl) and aluminium oxides (mostly Al2O3) and, in short, we crush it and wash it to separate the salt; the salt is dissolved and the oxides sink to the bottom of settling tanks.
That process is too slow, which is why I am thinking of using a desander to separate the oxides from the brine.
The particle size distribution of the aluminium oxides is as follows:

And the concentration of the sludge is about 300g per litre of brine, but that could be changed. I understand that hycrocyclones work better at lower concentrations, so I could easily recycle brine coming out of the hydrocyclone to dilute the input sludge if necessary.
I need to process 65 cubic metres of sludge per hour.
I'd appreciate if you could send me some information about your products, and ideally recommend one for my needs.
Thanks in advance, best regards,
