They are super soft and flexible and so pretty to use for earrings, hair braiding, or other crafts. **We personally wash, sanitize, dye and condition these feathers to maintain quality and cleanliness. NO you do not need a fancy installation kit or special tools for your feather extensions and you certainly don’t need to pay a salon $10-$15 a feather to put them in for you. All you’ll need is a pair of common needle nose pliers and a mirror or a friend to help you out. DONT FORGET : order 10 or more listings and get 10% OFF !! Please remember that feathers are natural and organic things. I can’t tell the bird what kind of feathers to grow and therefore I can’t guarantee you exactly what you will get. Some people want this and some do not so I’m leaving it on there and if you would prefer a long skinny feather without the poof just cut it off or trim it down with scissors.
